Disable pop up flash message of Vodafone in android. Vodafone is a Multinational Telecommunication Company. Providing very superior service in terms of network in many different places, but their annoying pop up flash service is shoddy(badly made). Once you Clicked OK on any of flash message displayed will charge you for a service, even if you accidentally clicked it. Even if you call to customer care for this, you will never get the proper response for this, but only answer that “But Sir, you made a click on the Flash service”. But wait, after all, it is a multinational company and want you to provide a better solution, and so they should have made a solution for this, to stop flash pop up service. Just need to do some simple steps, and you deactivate that service.

Here are simple steps you need to carry out on android mobile. While this post was specially made for android mobile users, but, i suppose that this trick would also work for other mobile operating system too.

Disable pop up flash message of Vodafone in android

1.) Go to Vodafone services and click on FLASH.

2.) You may see different options, like Activation, Service info, My topics and Alert. Click on Activation.

3.) After that click on Deactivate, and a message box will pop up, asking you to Deactivate the Flash Service. So press Ok.

All telecom operators customer care ,

Vodafone USSD codes

Disable BSNL flash messages, Stop Airtel Flash Messages articles also.

4.) Again move 2nd step and Select My Topics, and Select all Service OFF.

The procedure stated above did worked with my Samsung Galaxy Star Pro. Too easy to do. I’ve been too much annoyed with these nonsense till now.

Please help me out. It’s so annoying I keep getting these flash messages from Vodafone. I use an HTC Desire 820. It’s an awesome phone but now I just feel like throwing it away due to these flash messages popping up every 10 seconds. I tried searching on google for some solution. I was able to access Flash > Deactivate Flash but when I go to Topics it does not take me to the next screen but I get a message that Flash is not supported on the handset. Can you do something to help me fix this issue?

I change to a micro sim and to post paid connection. on the first month bill there were 3 apps I have no clue of and was charged 99 each. I had a big quarrel with CC and finally one person told to me to deactivate flash service. But before that was resolved the next bill was generated with d2c NDTV valuepack app 99Rs. I even clicked cancel on those flash msgs but still this sh*t happens. calling CC…again!!!

I Request you to deactivate flash messages by calling Vodafone Customer care.
I surfed many site and many people given many example to deactivate flash messages on android phone. Some of them are telling to install some apps and some of them are telling different codes to run like *xyz*abc#…
Which is really non sense, it may work in some cases but your customer care knows your SIM type and activated plans better than anyone else.
So my Suggestion is to call customer care and request to stop it. It will stop in 30 minutes.

I have Motto E2. Their is no Vodafone Services in app list. I tried to stop by sending STOP FLASH message to 111. but it fails always(Message not sent). Please help me.

In some samsung mobile you have “SimToolkit” option instead of “Vodafone Services”.Select that and follow the process to deactivate the FLASH messaging.
