Move Apps to SD Card on Android. In today’s era, where the apps are increasing by leaps and bounds in android market, many a times it becomes very different to manage all the apps in the android devices’ internal memory. This kind of a situation gives birth to the need of moving some of those apps if not all to secondary memory i.e. to SD Card. Today almost all the devices running android operating system supports a micro SD card slot in it, no matter to which company your mobile belongs to. So you can always put a SD card in the slot as per your convenience and the capability of your particular android device.
But there may be some other constraints like:
- All the older version of android supports this feature i.e. transferring apps to SD card but android 4.0-4.2 does not.
- Up to a great extent it depends upon the design of a particular application that it can be moved to SD card or not.
- Sometimes it is good to use external apps in order to have a variety of options rather than using the built-in function of the android device.

Really nice trick to move Android Application to SD card
Hai, when i try to move some apps to sdcard, the move to sdcard button is disabled. Like for Facebook, Google +, some games etc., which are very large in size and grabbing my Samsung grand2 internal memory. Kindly suggest me a solution. Thank you.

Hey Srinivas ,
As I told you in the post that it depends upon the design of a particular application that it can be moved to SD card or not. That’s why you can’t move every application to the SD Card.
So try to move all the other movable apps to SD Card and you will left with some of these Immovables apps and will have enough memory to accommodate them.
